Hola! My name is anonymous, and I'm a massage therapist at a BIPOC women-owned massage company with a majority-Black work force. This is my second year living in the US, having grown up in Honduras. I'm currently based in Paterson, New Jersey and absolutely love my job.
I'm passionate about helping others, and I take great joy in being able to spend my days helping people relax and feel more comfortable in their own skin. As a massage therapist, I specialize in Womens Massage and have been amazed over and over again by the power of touch. It can be so calming and healing, and I'm grateful to be able to share this gift with others.
Being a part of this BIPOC women-owned massage company has been such a wonderful experience. I'm surrounded by a team of amazingly talented and kind individuals who all care deeply about our mission of providing quality massage services. I'm always learning something new, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills.
The other day, one of my favorite customers came in for a massage. She's a long-time patron, and I always look forward to our conversations. This time, she told me that she'd been feeling a lot of stress lately, and that she was so grateful for the relaxing environment that we provide. She said that it's a safe place to just let go of all the worry and just focus on the present moment.
It's moments like these that really remind me why I do this job. Every day, I'm reminded of the importance of compassion, kindness and self-care. And that's why I'm so proud to be part of a team of hardworking professionals who believe in the power of Women's Massage. We're all doing our part to make the world a better place, and I'm proud to be part of this movement.
The most important thing I've learned from my experience as a massage therapist is that we all need care and compassion, no matter who we are. It doesn't matter how long we've lived in the US or where we come from. We all need someone to lend an ear to listen, or a hand to offer support. That's why I'm passionate about offering quality massage services - to remind people that they matter, and that they're worth taking care of.
I have always been passionate about massage research. I have been studying the effects of massage therapy for many years, and I am driven to discover new ways to improve the health and wellbeing of people through this practice. I have a special interest in exploring the effects of massage on both physical and mental health, as well as its potential for use as a therapeutic and healing modality. My research has brought incredible authors, researchers, and writers all around the world into my smaller world, and I have had the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from many different countries and cultures.
My research has not yet been published, nor have I have presented at conferences and workshops around the world. I have also been invited to speak at several universities and participate in research symposiums. I am passionate about continuing to work and advance the field of massage research, and I am eager to continue to explore new ways to help people find health and happiness through massage therapy.
Gardening is my favorite pastime and roses are my absolute favorite flower to grow! I love the challenge of nurturing them and bringing out their best qualities. Watching them come to life in my garden is something special, and I'm never tired of seeing the vibrant colors they offer. Growing roses has become an integral part of my life and I'm so grateful for it!
I am a lover of all things crystals, gems, and rocks. I have been captivated by their beauty and energy ever since I was a child. Whenever I have the opportunity, I attend gem shows to marvel at the wide array of colors and shapes available. I love learning about the various healing properties and energetic vibrations of different stones and have incorporated them into my daily practice of Ayurvedic healing.
